Mr. Ed's Farmllc

Mr Ed's Farm LLC is a diversified northern Minnesota farm that offers educational tours and hands on education programs to learn firsthand about agriculture and farm life. The one hundred and sixty acre farm is home to sheep, chickens, goats, pigs, cattle, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, and draft horses. All the farm field work and haying is done with horses. Farm tours include seeing, feeding and petting the farm animals. There are many hands on activities including shelling and grinding corn and rope making. Seasonal activities include:  baby animals in the spring, crop planting, haying demonstrations, and a fall potato and pumpkin harvest. Horse drawn hay and/or sleigh rides are offered year-round.

How to Participate

The Farm has special event days, seasonal public hours and group tours by reservation. Tours and activities are customized based on the purpose, desired outcomes and age of the participants. Clientele served include school groups, organizations, families, and businesses. The facilities can be booked for birthday parties, family reunions, picnics and holiday parties. Dates and Times

The farm offers year round educational programs. Because it is a working farm, tours are done primarily by reservation. There is no minimum group size.  Special events and public hours are posted on the website and marketed through FACEBOOK.
