Recently stayed at Loon Lake Lodge for the third year in a row.... IMHO The most Beautiful place on the Gunflint Trail. The original cabins are quaint and cozy, and the history of the Northwoods comes alive with every sight, smell, and sound. The Proprietors, Derek, Andrea, Dax, and Otis truly exemplify souls who are born to be there... The breakfasts and 5 star dinners are to die for.... Truly breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and the trails are amazing... Blessed to have been able to find this place!
