Ignite the Fort at Fort William Historical Park

Celebrate the holiday season at Fort William Historical Park’s Ignite the Fort. This family-friendly event will kindle your holiday spirit with plenty of fun seasonal activities. The festivities will include a brilliant tree lighting ceremony to “Ignite the Fort.”

Following Ignite the Fort, the festivities continue with the Star of Bethlehem event at the David Thompson Astronomical Observatory. Consider purchasing the Stars Ignite Combo-Pass for admission to both Ignite the Fort and the Star of Bethlehem for either December 8 or 9, 2018.

Driving Directions
Fort William Historical Park is located minutes from the Thunder Bay International Airport, on King Road, approximately 4 kilometres (3 miles) west on Broadway Avenue, off Highway 61.  For visitors coming from the U.S., Fort William Historical Park is only 30 minutes north of the border. Simply, follow Highway 61 north and turn left onto Broadway Avenue in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
