Areas of Service and Expertise
Servicing all entry points to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness along the Gunflint Trail. These are the primary entry points on the east side of the wilderness. The primary entry points include Saganaga lake, Seagull lake, Brandt lake, Missing Link lake, Cross Bay lake, Gunflint Lake, Poplar lake, Duncan lake, Clearwater lake, and East Bearskin lake.
Gunflint also serves the Quetico Park south entry through the Cache Bay station for permits for Saganagons, the Falls Chain, the Man Chain and the Border Route heading west.
Types of Experiences and Trips Provided
Two to fourteen day canoe trips, with everything from partial outfitting to complete outfitting to guided trips. Outfitting equipment includes a choice of Royalex canoes or Kevlar canoes, Eureka tents, multi season sleeping bags, cooking equipment, Camp Chow brand wilderness foods (an exclusive food line manufactured for Gunflint) and overnight accommodations before or after canoe trips in a bunk house, plus hot showers. Full food service is available at Gunflint Lodge, about 100 yds away.

Accessibility is limited by the wilderness terrain of the Boundary Waters country. The country is rocky, big steps on portages and campsites, and natural beach landings (no man made docks allowed).
