The 30-slip Marina on Grand Portage Bay is located adjacent to Grand Portage Lodge & Casino and is owned and operated by the Grand Portage Band of the Chippewa. The Marina is centrally located on Lake Superior between Thunder Bay, Ontario and Grand Marais, Minnesota within a shallow, protected bay. It can be accessed by driving 145 miles northeast of the Duluth Harbor Entry, or 43 miles southwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Open May through October, the Marina provides services for fishing and boating. Michigan fishing licenses (required if fishing out of Isle Royale), slip rentals, ramp launching, landing facilities, gas and tackle sales are available.
The RV Park is located at the Marina with 29 sites with full hook-ups, and a comfort station with restrooms and showers. Guests may use the Grand Portage Lodge & Casino indoor pool and sauna.
