Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes
Originally from the farming region of southern Minnesota, Pat grew up traveling north throughout the summer outfitting and guiding youth groups into the BWCAW and Quetico Park with his
father at a young age. Starting in 1983 he began exploring the scenic waterways
surrounding Ely. He moved to Ely in 1991 and now calls Ely home. Amy has lived in Ely her entire life...known in these parts as an "Elyite". She has expansive knowledge about the surrounding area and is always willing to share that knowledge with our visitors. Our son Hunter, now age 6, will tell you he knows just about everything about the area, however he is still in training and has much to learn!
