Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is your Base Camp for Adventure - on the slopes, in the woods, and along the Lake Superior shore! This year-round resort offers ski-in/ski-out access to Lutsen Mountains in the winter, and on-site access to Lutsen Mountain's Alpine Slide and Mountain Tram during the non-winter months.
Winter visitors enjoy the convenience of slopeside access to the 4 mountains and 95 ski trails at Lutsen Mountains. Each of our 75 studios and condos boast a mountain view, and are within walking distance to Papa Charlie's Restaurant and Tavern which features a daily line up of entertainment from January - March.
During the non-winter months guests will find fun-filled outdoor adventure activities, both on and off-site, that are perfect for families, couples, a romantic getaway, etc. Guests have on-site access to Lutsen Mountains Alpine Slide and Mountain Tram, two of the North Shore's most popular attractions. There are a number of hiking trails on site, including the famed Superior Hiking Trail, which take hikers to spectacular mountaintop vistas. One of the most popular (and most attainable) vistas is that from Moose Mountain and the Summit Chalet, which is located at the end of the Mountain Tram, or along the Superior Hiking Trail. Papa Charlie's Restaurant and Tavern is also located on-site, featuring great food and drink, deck dining, arcade, and live music.
Complimentary guest activities are offered mid June - Labor day including the popular Voyageur canoe guided tour, hiking trail shuttle, US Forest Service naturalist programs, music by the campfire and more.
Within a short drive, guests will find a number of state parks and other popular North Shore attractions including the quaint harbor town of Grand Marias. Opportunities to see waterfalls and hike along the rivers are plenty and among the most popular activities for Eagle Ridge guests. We are centrally located to the North Shore's eight state parks, all offering hiking trails along the rivers and waterfalls. Other popular activities include walking along the rocky Lake Superior Shore, shopping, dining, and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
