Bird Banding at Wolf Ridge

See local songbirds up close as you watch, and sometimes participate in, the bird banding process. Learn about the importance of bird banding and what scientists are discovering through this research.

In addition to being part of the national MAPS (Monitoring Avian Productivity Success) study, Wolf Ridge incorporates banding into our regular classroom experiences.

For those wanting a deeper experience, we offer more intense training. Four to seven-day Advanced and Beginning IBP Banding Courses are available. See details.
