BIKE! Grand Portage

Starting out on the shores of Lake Superior, experience the beautiful forests, hills and rugged semi-mountainous terrain at the tip of Minnesota’s Arrowhead on this loop ride. The ride begins with an easy warm-up pedal through a section of the Grand Portage village then turns inland for a challenging climb up to Old Highway 61. After the climb, enjoy a long, gradual descent to the Pigeon River valley and the site of the old border crossing. The final stretch takes you through a beautiful gravel forest road culminating in a fun, fast descent on pavement before arriving back on the Lake Superior shoreline.
