Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

Andy (Pa) & Lura(Ma) built this B&B from scratch and began entertaining guests in 2004.  They had both been recently widowed and pulled up their city roots to embark on this adventure with 4 young children. Neither had any experience in the hospitality field.  They also operate another small wilderness retreat, National Forest Lodge, in Isabella, Minnesota.
