The Sleeping Giant Loppet is a cross country ski event that takes place in the beautiful wilderness setting of one of Ontario’s most popular parks, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, the first Saturday in March.

The groom trails prepared by the Thunder Bay Nordic Trails Association follow a wooded corridor cut through the boreal forest of this serene parkland on the Sibley Peninsula opening up to sweeping views of Lake Superior as you ski the ledgendary landmark known as the Sleeping Giant.
