Lake Ore Be Gone and Sherwood Forest Campground

Lake Ore Be Gone is spring-fed, made up of three now inactive open pit mines.  The crystal-clear water looks almost tropical in some kinds of sunlight.

Offers full-service RV sites (electric, water, sewer) to simple, rustic tent spots.

Lake Ore Be Gone is known for walleye, northern pike and trout fishing.  There are many sunken attractions for scuba divers to explore.

Campground is adjacent to the Mesabi Trail and connected to the Iron Range Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Area by direct access trail.

Boat launch, fishing dock, picnic pavilion, swimming beach, horse shoes, volleyball, playground.
