Located on the grounds of the Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre, operating from the Roundhouse and Trappers Cabin, are a number of groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing throughout the site.
To protect the sensitive plant and animal species in the area, please stay on marked trails.
A warm up log cabin is at the trailhead, and hot beverages are available.
Snow shoe and ski rentals are available, and we also do school group tours.
Snow Sports Area By the Numbers
We have a 4.5 km trail and a 3 km trail for cross country skiing (Nordic)
Freestyle trails will be added in a future expansion
We have 3 km snow shoe trails
Along the snow shoe trail we are establishing several winter camping sites. These will be ideal for a light picnic along the trail.
We also feature a monthly moonlight ski event, timed to coincide with the full moon nights
Best Access and Parking Area
Parking is available at the visitors centre or at the trail head, at the warm up facility by the Roundhouse.
