For the Haunted Fort Night, Fort William Historical Park transforms from a placid fur trade post by day into a giant spook-house at night. The Halloween event takes visitors on eerie tours of dark, brooding Fort William where startling incidents begin to happen along the way. Visitors move from building to building encountering strange characters, where unsettling, ghostly storylines emerge. Frightening screams, piercing sounds, and unsettling bumps in the night abound. Due to startling scenes, the Fort Night is not recommended for children under age 12. Running for over 17 years, the popular Haunted Fort Night has traditionally sold-out. Anyone who loves a hair-raising scare will enjoy the Haunted Fort Night.
Haunted Fort Night happens every Thursday to Sunday night throughout October. Tickets are available by reservation only and are non-refundable. There are no rain dates. Tours begin at 7 p.m. and depart approximately every 10 minutes throughout the evening and last approximately 45 minutes in length. Tour capacity is roughly 20 to 22 people.
Tickets go on sale in September.
