Centrally located in the Voyageurs National Park region on the Ash River. Great fishing for walleye, northern pike, small mouth bass & crappies. Located right on the snowmobile trail.  All of our cabins are on the water and your dock is steps away from your cabin. 11 cabins, 3 motel rooms, bar, dining room with upscale eating, boat & motor rental, guide service, bait & gas, lodge with pool table & fun! Offering housekeeping, American Plan and Fishermen's (food, boat & guides) packages. Deluxe full-log cabins for family reunions (up to 16 people) to cozy one bedroom cabins perfect for honeymoons. We'd love to "see you on the 'Trail'" spring, summer, fall and winter! We also host weddings and business events. We can house approximately 100 people.

Lodging Style and Amenities

Upnorth deluxe --"un"roughing it at Ash Trail Lodge. Cabins are complete with linens, full kitchens with all amenities including griddles, crock pots and wine glasses and the property has wireless wi-fi everywhere! All cabins come with charcoal kettle grills and picnic tables. Docks have electrical.

Lodge is open from morning till bar close every day of the season. Restaurant has a mix of deluxe burgers, steaks and fish in a cozy atmosphere.

Services include: non-oxy fuels, complimentary fish cleaning, bait sales, groceries, boat and pontoon rentals, complimentary canoes and kayaks for guests to use, complimentary firewood for guests.

Seasons Open

Open year round for fishing and snowmobiling seasons. Lodge is CLOSED December and April until MN Fishing Opener.

Rate Range

Approximately $45-$60 per person per night. Cabins are a 3 night minimum. Lodge Rooms can be rented per night.

Driving Directions

Located 37 miles north of Orr off US Hwy 53 on Rt. 129-Ash River Trail and 37 miles south of International Falls. We are approximately 4.5 hours north of the Twin Cities and 10 hours north of Chicago.
